Beara’s roads have played host to An Post Rebel Tour and An Post Rás this year and in previous years. The Beara Way Cycling Route is a National Cycling Route and for the most part is on country roads. The route travels along the entire Beara Peninsula passing through all the picturesque towns and villages along the way. The entire route is 183 kilometres however with no start or finish you can feel free to join the route in any town and village on the Peninsula.

The route is clearly sign-posted with a logo and a bicycle symbol.
